The Executive Bureau for the Acceleration of Aid Absorption and Support for Policy Reform (EB) on Sunday kicked off a technical support training in project management targeting the staff of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries in the Yemeni interim capital, Aden.
The training program comes as part of the institutional building and technical support project implemented by the EB in several public institutions, and aims to train team of the Ministry's specialized staff in how to manage, monitor and evaluate projects.
The program includes various activities, demonstrative presentations and practical applications on actual projects included in the Ministry's strategy.
Scheduled to continue until 23 January 2024 - as a first stage that may involve three additional months - the training will be delivered by the EB's local trainers.
The program is designed to develop a proposed draft for planning, find out requirements for monitoring and evaluation, and analyze developments in order to implement the Ministry's projects, as a basis for taking executive decisions.
